Kids in Discovery Preschool is a weekday ministry of Discovery United Methodist Church serving children from the age of 2 through 6 years of age.
We are a child-oriented program with developmentally appropriate activities that will prepare your child for kindergarten while incorporating basic Christian values.
We believe that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery. Preschool children are naturally creative and receptive. Our staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in our students.We recognize that not all children have the same abilities. Our staff works with parents so that each child may enjoy as fully as possible his or her learning experience at Kids in Discovery Preschool.

NEWS UPDATE
We are now accepting 2 year old
children! They do not have to be 2 1/2
anymore. Please contact us or
complete a registration form if you
would like to enroll your 2 year old
child! (Must be 2 by 9/30/2011)
We are also now offering an Early Morning Drop-Off Program
beginning at 8:30a.m.

LUNCH BUNCH is now offered Monday through Thursday from 12 - 2 pm. Lunch Bunch is offered to students whether or not they were in class the days lunch bunch is offered. If your child needs extra socialization or if you have any appointment or lunch date, please take advantage of our Lunch Bunch Program. Sign-Ups are posted outside the office.
We are participating in the
Martin's A+ School Rewards Program
which begins
October 9, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
To help our school we need each family member to register their Martin's BONUS Card and designate KIDS in Discovery Preschool (#03206).
Once you register your card, every time you shop at Martin's, present your Martin's BONUS card, and Kids in Discovery will earn Cash for our school!
º KIDS in DISCOVERY PRESCHOOL is also participating in the
Kroger Plus Card for Education School Program.
Click on the Kroger + for Education tab below to print the barcode and take to your local Kroger along with your Kroger Plus Card to scan and register our school. 
Winter Afterschool Enrichment Classes begin Thursday, January 12, 2012. The theme of the Enrichment session is: "Exploring Cultures Around the World - Through A Child's Eyes". This session runs for 5 consecutive Thursdays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Children are asked to bring a lunch. Please check you child's bag for the registration form.
