Kids in Discovery is a preschool program serving children ages 2 through 6. We are a child oriented program with activities that will prepare your child for kindergarten, while incorporating basic Christian values.

It is the philosophy of Kids in Discovery Preschool that early childhood should be a time of exploration and discovery. Preschool children are naturally creative and receptive. The staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend. We understand the importance of educational programming for preschool children that develops the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the child.

 

We want children to experience learning at this precious time of life in an atmosphere full of encouragement and filled with stimulation and imagination.

 

We offer a balanced curriculum of play, creative art, music, outdoor play, conversation, story time, experimentation, dramatic play and group activities. Kids in Discovery recognizes that each child is an individual with unique talents. It is our goal to include all children in our program regardless of sex, race, religion or disability.

 

Discovery United Methodist Church recognizes the need for families in our community to enjoy a preschool experience in a reliable, safe, and healthy environment. It is our goal to provide a quality program that will benefit not only the child, but the family as well.
